Weight Matters

Value Solar only uses heavy duty inverters with 60 Hertz based, copper wound output transformers for high efficiency and unbeatable durability and performance.

Copper is expensive but its time tested performance in inverters is undeniable.

Since the year 2000 We've owned and operated one of the largest most experienced factory authorized inverter repair centers in the nation and we know the value of using a heavy duty 60 Hertz based output transformer.

Because of our in depth knowledge concerning the design, construction and repair of inverters, we simply will not use HF (high frequency) inverters in our systems.

Before making a buying decision, better ask how much the other dealer's inverter weighs, then ask to see the inverter's specification sheet to be sure.

Massive Mounting Rails

We pay more for the heavier duty, top of the line Unirac mounting rails that are used in our systems, but if you compare Unirac to the other dealers are offering you, you'll find that Unirac uses much more aluminum.

Because the U shaped rail uses far less aluminum, the result is a flimsier design which will require many more holes drilled into your roof to provide the rigidity that is necessary to support the solar panels. Drilling more holes into your roof can increase labor costs as well as increase the risk of a leak.

Also Unirac's taller rail provides more air flow for increased cooling. Solar electric panels work off of light not heat. Heat is a solar panel's worst enemy, the cooler a solar panels is, the more power it will produce. Always ask your dealer to show you a sample of the mounting rails the he's going to use on your roof. ******
